Well, what can I say about this theme… it was epic!!!! I think we all loved looking through everyone’s doggy pics. It would be great to share them all with you but there were sooo many so here are just a few. Thank you to everyone who shared their favourite photo of their lovely pooch!

Chantal Macleod-Holdsworth chose our#FridayFoto for us this week – thank you Chantal. Chantal is one of our lovely TBT members and is also a canine photographer herself so was suitably qualified for the challenge!

Our #FridayFoto was this snuggly image by Megan Friedrichs!

Here’s what Chantal had to say about Megan’s image:
“Megan, what can I say! I love the angle the Image was taken in, with the wood framing the scene. The warm tones of brown really give it ambience. And right there that wonderful dog! I have a soft spot for Bully breeds… When looking at ‘Havoc’ her eyes really catch you, as if she was saying ‘My spot, I’m not sharing!’ Made me giggle.
And that is the reason this Image is the winner for me. I wanted to keep looking at it, it made me feel something. And that’s what Photography is all about for me, to capture a moment in time and let it shine through. Well done!”

Our #ThursdayTheme last week was ‘pattern’. Sometimes the simplest things have the most impact and nature certainly creates the most stunning patterns. We have some fascinating images for you this week.

Here’s what Julie had to say about Peter’s image:

“I love that you have cropped in tight here and filled the frame with the leaves. My eye danced so pleasantly all around this image and it was led by the patterns. Despite the sameness of the subject, I feel that there’s so much to look at!

But it all leads to that awesome focal point where the leaves are opening from and it’s so perfectly placed in the frame.

The contrast is superb and your B/W conversion is just perfect. This stood out a mile on my timeline for this reason.

So this is my winner. For contrast, composition and simple beauty. Love it Peter. Thank you for sharing it with us!”
