Monochrome Photography – A selection of images from our #ThursdayTheme

A selection of Monochrome Photography

This week’s monochrome #ThursdayTheme is an epic one! Monochrome photography can be described as photography that shows different levels of black, white and grey etc within a photograph by exposing the differing levels of light in the image.

#FridayFoto this week is by Robert Taylor.

Black and white image of a man wearing a leather jacket and beanie hat standing behind his Harley Davidson motorcycle

Here’s what Julie had to say about Robert’s’s image:
“Such a great example of what can be achieved with off-camera flash. That atmospheric sky would be totally lost without it.
The detail and contrast and the low, wide angle the image has been shot at make the bike look so impressive and imposing. It’s just how a bike lover would want his baby to be showcased.
I love the composition and the way the owner has been posed. He plays an important part but he doesn’t detract from the star of the show… the bike!
What a great image Robert! It would be great if you could talk us through your setup!

Thank you so much for all your contributions.
