This time of year can often feel so dull and dreary but a misty morning can be a photographers dream! It’s not always an easy one to capture but our #TBT’s have, once again, shared some stunning moody, atmospheric misty images. Thank you to everyone who took part in this week’s #ThursdayTheme.
#FridayFoto this week was created by Chantal Macleod-Holdsworth and it’s a beaut!
Here’s what Julie had to say about Chantal’s’s image:
“Chantal never fails to take a new photograph for the theme each week. I’m not sure I’ve met many people more committed to their photography.
I’ve had the pleasure of watching her photography get better and better and better since she joined us two years ago and it’s all down to her constant practice with her beautiful dogs.
I love the low perspective here – it’s so much more interesting than if it was taken straight on or from above. Dedication is lying on the wet, mucky ground to get the shot, right Chantal?
But that reflection too! It’s awesome and I love that you have given both the subject and his reflection lots and lots of space to breathe.
There is a lot of atmosphere to this with the mist and the muted colours. And did I mention the composition? So much to love!
Thanks Chantal! Not just for sharing this but for always taking part with such imagination and enthusiasm.”
Thank you so much for all your contributions.
